Rochelle Linnemeier

Rochelle has lived in Fort Wayne, IN her whole life. Music has always been a huge part of her life, since she can remember. She loved to sing and would conduct to Disney movies as a kid. At age seven she picked up the flute. Loving the sound, she began teaching herself how to read and notate music. Those magical moments are where her love for music began. Playing in bands, singing in choirs, playing sports and performing in musicals filled her school years. She attended Indiana Purdue Fort Wayne and earned a Bachelors Degree in Vocal Music Education. While attending college she lead SAI as the Vice President of Membership. She was a section leader in University Singers, participated in Vocal Jazz, Chamber Ensemble and Opera Ensemble. Traveling with the choirs she was able to perform in places like Red Rocks Amphitheater and the National Cathedral. After obtaining her degree she went on to teach for FWCS, Montessori schools and Fort Wayne Lutheran Schools. In 2006 she became the music theory specialist for Fort Wayne Suzuki Talent Education. She has also worked with many churches in their music program, as well as their youth ministry. During these years she performed in 3 tours over seas with Music Celebrations International, under the director of Dr. William Skoog. Performing at the Rudolfinum in Prague, The Hills of Austria, St.Peters Basilica in Vatican City, Christ’s Church Cathedral in Dublin, and other countless Cathedrals. In more laid back settings, she performs as a flautist with APQ Harmonic here in Fort Wayne. She also plays/sings for weddings, funerals, church services and other special occasions. In 2015 she traveled to London, Ontario where she earned her Suzuki Early Childhood Education certification. Teaching babies and watching their brilliant minds grow brings her an insurmountable joy!  During her years of classroom teaching she was on the FAME board as the volunteer coordinator. After years of classroom teaching she began giving private lessons/classes. This is when she realized she had found her knack. When working one-on-one with a student, much more is learned. She feels blessed to help people learn something that is a life long skill. Being a part of ensembles and performing in general has given her a new confidence. Being one of those kids with stage fright, she understands how to deal with energies that get in our way as performers. Her dream is to help people find their love for music. Rochelle’s passion for music is undeniable. She’s very nurturing, and teaches in a positive and encouraging manner. Her newest endeavor is being the Co-owner of Treetop Tempo. She is excited to have an opportunity to bring music to our community. Music is necessary for life to continue, even the giraffes sing!

Allie Huard

Allie was born and raised in Fort Wayne, IN. As a child, she would sing, dance and tap tap tap on everything! Her first instrument of choice, chop sticks! Shortly after, she received her very first drum set and a welcomed upgrade to drum sticks. During her school years she played in bands, orchestras, musicals and marching bands. Throughout which, she was able to learn more than just the drum set but many percussion instruments. Her favorite, the timpani! After her schooling, she went on to work in various industries. While the time passed, her love for singing and playing the piano grew. So much that she went on to audition for The Voice. During this time, she would also sing the National Anthem for many sport organizations and charities. Briefly after, she went to Michigan where she earned her Every Child Can certification. With this, she became certified to assist in the Suzuki Early Childhood Education program. Being a percussionist and a vocalist, she was ecstatic to find new ways to use her prior skills to help the young learn and grow. Sharing the gift of music with the generation of our future drives Allie to push the boundaries of normalcy. She is a firm believer that we are capable of so much more than we could ever imagine. Outside of Suzuki, she plays/sings for weddings, funerals, church services and other special occasions. She also loves to play gigs around town. Craving for more, she began the journey to open Treetop Tempo. After months of research and preparation, and with the help of Rochelle, together they made a life long dream a reality. While Allie handles most of business, marketing and virtual presence, she also offers lessons. Working one-on-one with a student, is one of the most rewarding experiences for her. It’s true what they say, hard work and determination truly does pay off. Yearning for even more, she is currently enrolled in the Piano Technician Academy. Once completed, she will be certified to repair and tune pianos. What endeavor will she dive into next?!
